Syrian jardiniere table - hexagonal top with MOP inlay (66 x 40cm)

The upright Damascus table has probably been intended to serve as a jardiniere plant stand. Decorated with small areas of mother of pearl inlay and turned masharabia. At some stage of its history the table has been painted a near black and some of which has begun to wear away so that it no longer looks hard and unnatural.
